Warning for Herne Bay quad bike owner
A quad bike owner from Herne Bay has been warned ride it improperly, or allow anyone else to do the same, and they run the risk of having it seized.
It follows a number of complaints by members of the public at Burton Fields park at Thundersland Road about the vehicle.
Police community support officer Becky Glaiser went up to the site yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) with colleagues Matt Sedgewick and Della Newman after further calls from residents.
The owner, a 16-year-old from Herne Bay, had allowed his 28-year-old sister to ride the bike yesterday afternoon.
She was issued with a section 59 warning, as was the vehicle, meaning that if she or anyone rides in that manner again, it could be seized.
